Late Lunch at Don Henrico's

Last weekend, I finally get to chat with a long time friend, S. She is my closest friend back in high school. I used to tell her all my crushes, my kilig kwentos and everything. She is one of the eyewitness to my then love life. She  was the one who noticed and knew that my current boif and I have something special.

Anyway, enough of the personal talk. We started to celebrate friendship that day by eating a late lunch at Don Henrico's. S said she was craving for pizza days ago. And I said I wanted to eat at a place that I haven't tried before. So, Don Henrico's it is.

THE FOOD

For appetizer, we had Dip 'N Nachos. I love the cheese and taco dip. I really can't say no to nachos. I would also want to try their mozarella sticks. Next time. This is my treat.

We also ordered their Al Pesto. This pasta has fresh basil, garlic, walnuts and parmesan cheese in olive oil in it. It tasted a-okay.

And since S is craving for pizza, we ordered 10" Basic Cheese Pizza. And we only get to eat a slice because we were already full of the pasta and nachos. 

THE DRINKS

We both wanted the sweet-tasting Peach Nectar. When it comes to juices, the flavors that I can take in is limited and peach is one of them. Actually, it's a favorite. The sweetness of the juice doesn't really go with the cheesy taste, so we had to ask for service water. Soda would have been more appropriate.

We paid Php600 plus for it and it's well, a bit expensive. And to think that we only ate 3 different courses. :) But the taste is yumm.
