L♥ve is a Mutt

Three days before my birthday, we decided to go on a mini road trip to the beach. Because we're missing the Philippine summer and we're kind of stuck here in Limerick with an 11C kind of weather. Thanks to C's superb travel skills, we have arrived on the beautiful shoreline of Ballynunion Beach! It's like 2-3 hours away from where we live here in Ireland. But before that, we stopped over at Foynes  just to take a sip of the famous Irish coffee. We snacked at O'Regan's Restaurant, a little cafe beside the Foynes Flying Boat Museum. Irish coffee is actually a cocktail consisted of hot coffee, Irish whiskey and sugar stirred in together and topped with a thick cream. The drink was conceived one wintery night in th 1940s when American passengers passed hopped off from a Pan Am flying boat. On my first weekend here in Limerick, we went to Dromoland. Dromoland used to be a castle, but it's now a 5-star hotel  near  Newmarket-on-Fergus  in  County Clare , Ireland.  It was Sunday and I was kind of eager to go out and explore Ireland.  That's the castle, obviously.  Here I am with them. They're my officemates, but we only got to talk to each other here. We're from different groups and we really don't handle the same products. That's why.  I love this spot. I always loved trees. Here, trees are lovely. (Lovely, I finally get to use the word here a lot. In conversations.) The detail that I like most about them is the red and wilted parts on the top of those little twigs and branches. Yahoo! Crossed out an item in my bucket list last weekend: Surf in Baler. Yes, I have actually surfed: two feet on surfboard while standing up and arms stretched out on the sides. Though the washouts were greater in number, the swell that you feel when you can actually surf up is all worth the butt fell offs and board slips. Through that 1-hour surf lesson, I was able to realize that surfing is a lot like life and there are lessons that you can learn. Anyhow, let me you snappies of our Day 1 in Baler. How we got to be in this trip Bought vouchers from CashCash Pinoy for P2950 instead of P6900 (rate each person) Travel agency is Traveller's Deal and I highly recommend them.
