Why I Fell In Love with Medium

Have you ever heard of Medium? It's like a more grown up Thought Catalog.

This is my profile there.

And this is my first article published there. 
Well, it's a new place where you could share your story. You could sign up and share a story. The number of minutes that your readers will take in reading your whole story will be displayed on top. I'm not sure what the effect of this is. Short stories call for more readers?



I have been invited to a similar start up before, but I have buried writing a contribution in my to-do list. Anyway, I think Medium is going places. For one, I have read a Medium article on my Facebook feed and it was shared on 9Gag. It's a funny piece you should read it.


Here are the things which I find adorbs on Medium:

  • The fonts
  • The fact that the only available formats are the minimalistic ones

  • The huge picture heading for your article


  • The notes that your readers can leave on any line of your piece!!! (#1 reason)
  • The people who write for medium (They're established people, start up founders, CEO's, managers, witty writers, etc.)
  • The richness of the pieces submitted on Medium

A History Not So Long Ago

I have made a pact with myself a few months ago to read all my electronic and communications books for the upcoming ECE board exams next year. However, when I got to the part,FAQs: The Internet & WWW, I had a hard time concentrating when my laptop with an internet connection is just a mere 4 feet away from me. Walking away from my boring study table and sitting on the shining throne sitting in front of my Compaq would be effortless. I am absolutely in love with JGT all over again.

I just watched Inception today. OMG. I am getting old. I can't watch a great movie in time, but I wanted to thanks myself for treating out myself. I stopped writing articles this afternoon for the reason that my back hurt. So, instead, I gave in to movie watching. Yay me. I don't have time to review the movie, Inception. Maybe next time. My 24 hours is just too short for my every-weekend life. I need more time to blog and write articles. But anyway, I so appreciate the movie. Too bad I didn't watched it with him.
