I Need Your Opinion :|

Which do you think will I buy?
Samsung S5250 Wave525

or

Samsung S3580 Corby II

I wanted to buy a new phone for myself eversince I landed this job, but I can't seem to buy one because I think my money will not be worth it. But since my phone is kind of hard to deal with -- long time to load the messages, family and the boyf say that they don't receive my messages and all.

Because of all these, I want to get a decent phone. Remember how I raved about the Samsung Galaxy Ace? The thing is, it costs Php13,000 plus and I don't think I will be able to utilize all its features. (When I started earning my own money, I want to make sure that every cent is worth it, well, most of the time, anyway.) And Php13,000 for a cellphone is pretty much off my budget. I still need to buy an external hard disk.

So, today, I have this brilliant idea that would enable me to buy a new cellphone anytime soon. And today, I scourged the internet for the perfect and practical phone for me. I thought Nokia C5-03 was the thing, but nope, after seeing it in a mall store earlier, I said this isn't worth Php8,000 plus. I am very particular with the physical appearance of the things that I want to have.

Anyway, the two contenders are: Samsung S3580 Corby II and Samsung S5250 Wave525. (Though the latter already has a more improved version, which is the Samsung Wave 735.) So, here are the ultimate face-to-face of these two models:

Okay, so I don't care about the camera megapixels, I have Adalie for that. I am now concerned of these things: (1) Price, (2) Color and appearance, (3) Practicality and (4) Satisfaction.

Price: Samsung Corby II - only Php 4,000 plus (almost Php5,000) vs. Samsung Wave 525 - Php 6, 790
Color and Appearance: Samsung Corby II appears more hip and has a young gen feel, while Samsung Wave 525 seems like it was made for professionals. One thing is for sure though, I want my new cellphone to be white.
Practicality: Both can text, call and can take pictures. Corby II and Wave 525 are WiFi ready. That's all I'm after, but Corby is almost Php2000 cheaper than Wave 525. :((((
Satisfaction: Honestly, I want a plain, white, rectangle phone, but when I saw the pink Corby II, I kind of liked it. However, I know so well that in terms of display, Wave 525 has an edge. I saw a Corby display before and it's not crisp-looking.

Soooo, what do you think will I choose? Will the Php2000 be worth it? I can make up for it here online, right? But I am not earning much. Sigh. And to help me (and you) decide, here is a comparison made by Compare Cellphones. (Just click on the picture and please open it in a new tab. ;} )

Okay, okay, I get it. Samsung Wave 525 is way better. After watching this video review of Samsung Wave 525 on YouTube, I was finally convinced that Php2000 will be worth it. See the vid below. This is a great review.

Hope I wouldn't change my mind. And hope my plan works. :) Wish me luck. And thanks for your inputs in advance!
