[Post] College Chick

I have a thing for notebooks, new books, highlighters and studying. I missed studying so much that earlier this month, I would have enrolled in a Masteral Class right there and then only if we haven't missed the deadline. But, His plan is an ever-omnipresent one and I dare not question why. I would love to ask Him though, What now? Only if He talks to me. So this month, June, was a month of dawning for me. I finally found that day dream job -- Technical Writer. =D =D =D Because I am a know it all. I want to document how things should be used, how they would function and how to do this and that. Seriously, I want to write all day, but I wouldn't want to lose touch of my technical side, so the thought of being a Technical Writer makes me jump on my office chair. :) Bahahaha. I am afraid of elaborating this one. But I gotta shut up about it for now. And, aside from that, I want to level up in my salary and in my resume. I want to take up some masters. My office mate menti

Catch Up Dates at Soi | Soi Thai Restaurant Review

Catch Up Dates at Soi  Soi Thai Restaurant Review Soi Ground Floor, North Wing, Mall of Asia (MOA) Complex Pasay City Contact No.: 02 8364177   Payment: Cash, Credit Card  Facebook My friend Sylvie and I share a lot of common likes -- books, cute stuff, crafts and well, food. When she and I met a few weekends ago, we started our food tripping and mall hopping with a somehow late lunch at Soi, a Thai cafe in MOA. THE FOOD Chips and Peanuts | free While waiting for our orders we were served with free appetizers -- Thai chips and salted peanuts. Yum! I was ecstatic while lunch started. Chips and nuts are my favorite. The chips reminded me of a familiar, beautiful taste, which sadly, I cannot remember. Pad Thai Chicken | Php 248.00 We were debating whether to order rice or not. Aside from the fact that we are trying to lose weight,  the expensive rice price convinced us to substitute rice with Pad Thai Chicken, a personal favorite of mine too. I love the presentation -- the eggs fried to a

Catch Up Dates with S

A few weekends ago, my long-time friend and I met. :) We strive to do this once in a while. She was my high school classmate and we always go home together because the same jeepney travels in our route. And we talked about everything way back then. So, we were thinking of having some activities planned out for our meet-up, but since we're both busy, we haven't planned out quite anything yet. And she is busy with her travels this year. I thought of enrolling in one of those one-day art school seminar, but it is just so effing expensive. Anyway, we just met and talked. Casual. And we enjoyed it. Still. WARNING: Foodgasmic. I am eating a lot of food lately. Well, some are unhealthy. Maybe I'll try eating barley  some time soon. Oh, those superfoods can definitely shed out some cash out of your wallet! Anyhow, our first stop is lunch at Soi, a Thai Restaurant in MOA. Soi Review at Gastronomicca  We were pretty much full. Why wouldn't we? It was my first time in

Painting my Thumb Green with Miracle-Gro

Image
This post brought to you by Miracle-Gro . All opinions are 100% mine. Whenever my mom visits me here in my apartment, she always plant a variety from the cactus family on the plant box outside of our front wall. All I have to do is water them and pull out some weeds. Sadly, sometimes, they die. Now, I am interested in fun garden projects  because flowers, DIYs and LED lights in mason jars lit me up. I am trying something new. The last seeds that I have grown are monggo in little white cups. I was always fascinated on how the brim of the cup would crowd with newly sprouted monggo . But, I want to try something more adult and cute like this Origami Garden from The Gro Project . Here's a round up. ORIGAMI GARDEN So you're gonna need a lot of art stuff like glue, rulers and a bright colored rope. You can always have your favorite items included. Or tweak some steps. Throw in some paint and design your cardboard. The most important item here is the Miracle-Gro  for your cu

Wear It Your Way with Wacoal

A wrinkled bra undeniably evident behind your fitting top is definitely embarrassing and so un-lady like. For women, it is wise and just right to invest in undergarments. As my mom would say, "Always wear that undergarment that would make you look good even if you faint somewhere and you can't help it being exposed." Of course, I just translated it. Wehe. Okay, mom. Noted. A perfect fit for the bra of requirement -- Wacoal's Wear it Your Way bra in baby blue and baby pink. The great thing about this brassiere is that it boasts a thin padding that would go perfectly over clingy, thin shirts, the fad nowadays. It has no wire so it is friendly to our breasts without a degraded function of comfort and full support. And of course, I can wear it in whatever fashion I desire -- strapless, one-sided, conventional and center halter.  Basically, I can wear anything inside my closet with these babies. However, one can always have favorites. As for me, my top three
