The Bad and The Happy

Hello, online and offline friends! Stalkers, you're very much welcome too. :)

Here's a happy picture:

[my instagram pics] [1] Me in sweater, drinking my Macadamia-flavored coffee, [2] Me in sweater eating pistachio ice cream. Yes, it was taken at work on the same day and yes I consume coffee and ice cream in a single day because I don't mind the calories. Know why I've given you that? I just want to make sure you'd smile before I'd tell you my rants. Hah!

I have been MIA because all my energies been drained out because:

a. My websites have malware and have been suspended by iPage. I honestly didn't know what caused them so I was like WTF, but in a calm way. This means that I can start over. I only have like 5 posts in my other blog but almost a thousand subscribers. The subscriber part kind of gets me down. I still hav…

How to Shape Your Brow According to Your Face Shape

I have been obsessing with my eyebrows for quite a while now. I've always filled it in with eyebrow pencil whenever I feel like it. I face days when the inner engineer in me triumphs and I put no make up at all. This happens most especially on days when I am busy at work.

Anyway, I found a trick on how to do it the perfect way. Thanks to Alight. Did you know that your eyebrow shape should accentuate your face shape? I didn't until this infographic. I would only trace my existing eyebrow lines. Well, the end result is good as I shape my brows often. I am not comfortable when little growing brows begin to show up. I hate the sight of them.

Anyway, I am sharing my cheat sheet here. Enjoy, ladies and let's shape that brow often. It makes your face a whole lot fiercer.

The Magic of Falling in Love with A Reader

So, I was torn between doing my critical article review for my Economics class, working online and blogging earlier. School assignment triumphed, blogging won the second place. Side hustling is for later. Congralute me, loves?

But before that, this sneaky article entitled,
Why Readers, Scientifically, Are The Best People To Fall In Love With
caught my attention and while reading, I can't help but feel kilig for my boyfriend because he got a reader as a girlfriend. Haha.

See, I like reading. I love reading way back in elementary. Dad got me a basket-full of books when he goes home (from working over the sea). The only thing that I have regretted is reading Sweet Valley Kids because it has poisoned my mind in finding true love and first kisses when I was just ten or eleven freaking years old.

When I have kids, love story books should be out of their shelves. Real novels only, soon-to-be-babies.

I am not claiming that I am this notorious reader, but I have read a …

Why I Fell In Love with Medium

Have you ever heard of Medium? It's like a more grown up Thought Catalog.

This is my profile there.

And this is my first article published there.

I Urge You to Have a Life Outside Your Day Job Well, it's a new place where you could share your story. You could sign up and share a story. The number of minutes that your readers will take in reading your whole story will be displayed on top. I'm not sure what the effect of this is. Short stories call for more readers?

I have been invited to a similar start up before, but I have buried writing a contribution in my to-do list. Anyway, I think Medium is going places. For one, I have read a Medium article on my Facebook feed and it was shared on 9Gag. It's a funny piece you should read it.

Here are the things which I find adorbs on Medium:

Weekly Wishes { Week 1 | July 2014}

Ooops, skipped a week. No biggie though. I can be excused because I was sick, remember?

Anyway, last week was kind of a busy one since I'm back to schooling once again. And the square pics are from my Instagram account.

(1)I made banana-chocolate pan breakfast for myself. (2)The juice with the paper straw was taken during my lunch-out with my LK buddies, the people I spent with during my Ireland days. (3)The sunny, LA-ish pic was take outside my office when I went home early. (4) Chilling on a swing over water in Magic Island, Boracay. (5) Me in PJ's when I was sick. I could almost taste that WAHM feeling. (6) Free choco-banana SB drink, which J and I didn't like. Thank heavens we didn't order it. I have to bribe myself to work. I have to go visit SB. (7) That saying was brilliant. Too bad you can't read it. Hah! Check out my instagram to read it, will you? (8) Flavors for the regular coffee. I chose Macadamia and it was divine. (9) Free candies for us when we wen…

Slow Mo Manila and its Video Booth Glory

I am an awkward person in front of the camera. I take the most boring pictures in photobooths.

I don't know with you, but don't you think photobooths have become overrated these past few years? I mean, it was all cute at first with all those costume props and wacky shots with your friends. It has become the ultimate take-home, anti-vanity souvenirs. Remember those wedding souvenirs when all you can see is this picture of the bride and groom? Well, photo booths have solved that problem -- they made souvenirs extra exciting by allowing the guests to take home a piece of item with their faces on it.

But, have they become boring?

Well, I think they are fastly approaching the boring scale.

Pft. I hate to spill this to you (because I was planning of having the first ever video booth on my wedding, the first ever in my circle of families and friends), but I just can't contain this news all to myself, right? Hear this. There's a new twist in photobooths and it has been rockin…
