How to Shape Your Brow According to Your Face Shape

Image
I have been obsessing with my eyebrows for quite a while now. I've always filled it in with eyebrow pencil whenever I feel like it. I face days when the inner engineer in me triumphs and I put no make up at all. This happens most especially on days when I am busy at work. Pinterest photo credit Anyway, I found a trick on how to do it the perfect way. Thanks to Alight . Did you know that your eyebrow shape should accentuate your face shape? I didn't until this infographic. I would only trace my existing eyebrow lines. Well, the end result is good as I shape my brows often. I am not comfortable when little growing brows begin to show up. I hate the sight of them. Anyway, I am sharing my cheat sheet here. Enjoy, ladies and let's shape that brow often. It makes your face a whole lot fiercer. Courtesy of: Alight Connect with the writer

The Magic of Falling in Love with A Reader

Image
So, I was torn between doing my critical article review for my Economics class, working online and blogging earlier. School assignment triumphed, blogging won the second place. Side hustling is for later. Congralute me, loves? Tumblr photo credit But before that, this sneaky article entitled,  Why Readers, Scientifically, Are The Best People To Fall In Love With caught my attention and while reading, I can't help but feel kilig for my boyfriend because he got a reader as a girlfriend. Haha. See, I like reading. I love reading way back in elementary. Dad got me a basket-full of books when he goes home (from working over the sea). The only thing that I have regretted is reading Sweet Valley Kids because it has poisoned my mind in finding true love and first kisses when I was just ten or eleven freaking years old. When I have kids, love story books should be out of their shelves. Real novels only, soon-to-be-babies. I am not claiming that I am this notorious r

Why I Fell In Love with Medium

Have you ever heard of Medium ? It's like a more grown up Thought Catalog. This is my profile there. And this is my first article published there.  I Urge You to Have a Life Outside Your Day Job Well, it's a new place where you could share your story. You could sign up and share a story. The number of minutes that your readers will take in reading your whole story will be displayed on top. I'm not sure what the effect of this is. Short stories call for more readers? I have been invited to a similar start up before, but I have buried writing a contribution in my to-do list. Anyway, I think Medium is going places. For one, I have read a Medium article on my Facebook feed and it was shared on 9Gag. It's a funny piece you should read it. 10 Tricks to Appear Smart During Meetings Here are the things which I find adorbs on Medium: The fonts The fact that the only available formats are the minimalistic ones The huge picture heading for yo

Slow Mo Manila and its Video Booth Glory

Image
I am an awkward person in front of the camera. I take the most boring pictures in photobooths. I don't know with you, but don't you think photobooths have become overrated these past few years? I mean, it was all cute at first with all those costume props and wacky shots with your friends. It has become the ultimate take-home, anti-vanity souvenirs. Remember those wedding souvenirs when all you can see is this picture of the bride and groom? Well, photo booths have solved that problem -- they made souvenirs extra exciting by allowing the guests to take home a piece of item with their faces on it. But, have they become boring? Well, I think they are fastly approaching the boring scale. Pft. I hate to spill this to you (because I was planning of having the first ever video booth on my wedding, the first ever in my circle of families and friends), but I just can't contain this news all to myself, right? Hear this. There's a new twist in photobooths and it has been
